The End.

There's something here, This foreboding, This cross of fate That marks the end of destiny. There's something here, This hush of grieving And a draft tumbles its way in, But there's no entrance. There's something here, And no one knows what it is, Because there's no light in this world; No one can see. There's something here, Because the Earth flips beneath their feet, And there are only cliffsides At the end of all roads. There's a chill in the air And tremors in their veins Because they've just realized There's nothing here. There's something here: Nothing, but the end of the world.

Walking along the line goes the one who is crippled. Moving as swift as allowed by his soul feeling eyes upon him of the strangers. But he's alone. The only paper in a backpack, an empty heart. Bleeding is said heart. For it is crippled, like a strapless backpack. It fails, a broken soul. All alone, Surrounded by strangers. Hi young poets- I am here to ask for any interested peeps to be a part of an art project designed to promote awareness for Homeless youth... Please see my copy/paste below for more info:

Help to bring awareness of youth homelessness by taking a moment to think of at least one person from another state that may be willing to submit a digital image of art or other digital file of artwork for this nationwide collaborative digital mural. Do you know of a community newspaper or bulletin board you might be able to share this too? Are you willing to submit something? Our success will be based on the communities across the nations willingness to help us spread this news.

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month and it's just around the corner. The Colorado Rural Collaborative Youth Leadership Team is working on a new mural project for November's National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. Our goal is to receive one submission from each state- Can you help us achieve this? The artwork can be as simple as a sketch with pencil, a poem, or painting (just take a photograph to make it digital and submit) or it can be more complicated like a short skit, performance art (video), or a song, or an animation! We hope to have individuals like you submit and encourage youth groups collaborate something to submit. Anyone is invited to participate both adults and youth. This project is WIDE open for you to be creative and most importantly have fun. What a great Positive Youth Development project for a group of youth... a class... or a Youth Leadership Team.

Honestly, I'm not sure. The founder (my daughter) has gotten too busy to keep up, but I have noticed others still posting. I've been trying to get someone to take over as permanent moderator, but haven't had much luck...

Hi! Thank you for asking. I'm the mom of the founder. I've been hoping she'd find someone to take over for her as she hasn't been dedicating the time here that's needed. I'll let her know that ppl are asking, hopefully light a fire under her feet. Please don't loose patience!

Thanks. I only ask though because we have a blog where we feature some of our affiliates every two weeks (read: when college isn't trying to kill me), and I'm not writing a feature for an inactive group. Fortunately, you guys have a while before your turn comes around again (I think), so hopefully, you'll reach a more stable situation by then. Thanks for responding, too. I actually forgot that I sent that message!
